Debian 5 installation problem

Have anyone try the latest Debian 5 iso CD? I got installation problem. It is the select and install software stage. If I select only
Code:
[*]Desktop Environment[*]Standard
it will be fine. If I want to select web server, email server, the installation fail.

Anyone got the same problem?

But how many software do you think is on the CD? You can do a simple desktop install with it, if you want more you have to get the other CDs or DVDs and add the to your sources.list. You can use apt-cdrom for that.

There are really lot of package like apache2, gcc library, exim4 mail server, pppoeconf, postgresql db, etc in the install CD disc 1.

Also the default sources.list already include the CD disc 1.

You didn't ask a stupid question, what is stupid is you are dredging up really old threads.
