Create debian ISO from current filesystem?

I currently have a server setup in a perfect way for my specific network. Is there a way that I can mirror the server EXACTLY to a CD that will install all my configurations and the like upon CD boot?

Thank you very much. Now, how would I be able to install the live cd distro to the hard drive on Debian? I only see options for Ubuntu using Ubiquity.

Remastersys for debian comes with a hard drive installer; remastersys-installer
you probably know that by now...

there are a few tweaks and tricks, if you need help post back.

Surprisingly enough, I did not find that. Even after hours of searching. I eventually even switched to CloneZilla, but now that you have pointed this out, I thank you very much as I like this solution MUCH better.

just used remastersys on a Debian base install.

rebooted machine and stopped when it could not find the splash.xpm.gz.

copied a good slash.xpm.gz and ran update-grub and it found it. (found the old one too!), replaces the meunu.lst with a good one.

rebotted and machine came up.

Funny thing is that I don't remember a splash screen on a base install before.

What do I need to check?

Thanks
