Create custom CD
 

I am really not sure how to proceed from this point. Here is my situation:

New Laptop - HP NC6230

It does run very hot when installing Debian 3.1. What I learned was that I needed to install the acpid module so my system would not overheat and shutdown because of heat.

apt-get install acpid

So I do the very base Debian install as fast as I can, reboot and install the acpid as soon as I can.

Can I create a custom CD that will include this module in it so when it boots, its already a part of the initial load?

I think there is an option at the first boot screen. If you hit F4 it will give you additional boot options. I have never needed this modules, but I "believe" I saw something about it there.
