Could Debian have fluxbox package with double click and one with shade_cmd to maximz?

Hello,

I mean, if with apt-get cache search fluxbox
we could get the package
fluxbox
fluxbox-shade
fluxbox-maximize

http://fluxbox-wiki.org/index.php?ti...lebar_maximize
It could be interesting for n00b users, no ?

Looking at that guide, it seems that these are modifications to the main fluxbox source, and so I don't think it would be easy just to provide separate packages for them. I think you'd have to provide a whole separate build.

If you want your own modified version .deb, you can use apt-get to download the official debian source package, apply the changes to the source according to the guide, then use dpkg to build it and to install the resulting .deb package.

Another option would be to download the official fluxbox source, compile it as you wish, then use checkinstall to wrap the build up in a .deb package for installation with dpkg.
