configure Grub2 to boot FreeBSD

Hi

I have dual boot: Squeeze and FreeBSD 8.3 on my desktop.
Howto configure Grub2 to boot FreeBSD?

No idea about grub/2, I use lilo - try searching using your favourite search engine. I just did so and found this: http://unix.stackexchange.com/questi...oot-loader#869

(among others)

This doesn't work?

sudo update-grub

If running os-prober as root produces no output, then you will have to add it manually. If os-prober does pick it up, then run update-grub and it should work.

You could look at:

Yes I know the Linux mentioned there is Slackware, not Debian but it might still give you ideas.

I would give this a shot.

Appears to need a custom menu entry to boot it. Looks pretty straight forward.
