I download pidgin 2.7.1 source from pidgin official website. But when ./configure source code, I obtain the message
Code:
checking for GTK... no
no
configure: error:
You must have GTK+ 2.10.0 or newer development headers installed to compile
Pidgin. If you want to build only Finch then specify --disable-gtkui when
running configure.
saying gtk 2.10.0 not existed; however, whilst checking /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0, seemingly everything needed is there. How can I make configure recognize it? Or where may I go wrong?
my env is debian unstable, kernel 2.6.32.8
Thanks for help.
