Chinese locale support
 

Does anyone know how to enable chinese locale support?

Here is what I have tried.
During the Debian installation, I chosed the Chinese locale support,
and I enabled framebuffer as asked.
But it still asked me to configure framebuffer in order to support Chinese locale
and told me zh... is not available

So, I compiled the kernel(2.4.23) and seleceted framebuffer.
After reboot, the Chinese locale was yet not on the locale list.

I was using RH9 before, and it handled it so well.
What's wrong with my Debian?

I don't know anything about locales - I'm a 100% English speaker. If you still have the problem, then repost at http://www.debianhelp.org. Otherwise, this post is just to get this thread off the 0 replies list.
