Probably mean you don't have SELinux installed.

You can also;
grep -i /boot/config<the one you use for boot> selinux

CONFIG_SECURITY_SELINUX=y
CONFIG_SECURITY_SELINUX_BOOTPARAM=y
CONFIG_SECURITY_SELINUX_BOOTPARAM_VALUE=1
CONFIG_SECURITY_SELINUX_DISABLE=y
CONFIG_SECURITY_SELINUX_DEVELOP=y
CONFIG_SECURITY_SELINUX_AVC_STATS=y

I do because i searched throught theKDE package manager (installed section) and it had selinux shared libraries
It said it wasn't set althrough I didn't compile my kernel it's prebuilt so it wouldn't be the same would it?

I dont really want to uninstall it because I run a webserver on this machine. INot always on but I like to keep my comp as secure as possible

Long answer;
Not set mean not set, as in no. See the '#' being at the first character. So.... if you take off the '#' and try to compile, you'll get that error.... until you set it.

Short answer;
No, you do not have SELinux.

You sure like to edit your post while I'm trying to answer.

You can't just edit the config. You have to go through the entire process of building the kernel. The Debian site has pretty good docs on this. Make another post as how to build your kernel if you need help.
