Can't drag and drop items from menu to create shortcuts.

Since a couple of days, I can't drag and drop items from menu to create shortcuts on desktop. Both Left and Right mouse buttons work the same (both start the application). Right click works on any other place (desktop, etc).

Is there a way to get my right mouse button working again on menues?

Thank you!

Wish I could be more specific, but we need more information.

You might need to check some log files...look at your /var/log/Xorg.0.log for warnings and errors.

'grep' your log directory looking for references to your mouse...

Code:
fgrep -i mouse /var/log/*
...or something like that.

Another potential slip might be some package upgrade affecting gtk+ (or bonobo?). Check your '/var/log/aptitude' log or your '/var/log/dpkg.log' for half configured packages in recent upgrades.

Post the things you find unexplained or suspicious.

My desktop is Gnome. Right click works fine when used on any other place but menu items ¿? This didn't happen a week or two ago.

Thanks for your cooperation.

I guess some update to the incoming gnome 2.28 broke it. Be patient and wait for a fix if you are on testing or unstable.
