Cannot install evolution

Hi there

I have installed impi linux which is baced on debian testing. I have the following errors when I try to install evolution :

Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

Sorry, but the following packages have unmet dependencies:
evolution: Depends: libcamel0 (= 1.0.5-1) but 1.2.4-1.1woody2 is to be
installed
E: Sorry, broken packages

When I try to install libcamel0, a process runs but then comes up with an
error :

.............................
ko_KR.UTF-8... done
kw_GB.ISO-8859-1... done

/usr/share/i18n/locales/lt_LT:2181: LC_TIME: unknown character in field `mon'
dpkg: error processing locales (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
locales
localepurge: processing locale files ...
localepurge: processing man pages ...
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Any ideas on how to fix this please?

Kind regards
Sudhashen

Try dpkg-reconfigure localepurge and select the locales that you kept plus the language option as well eg. en, en_US ISO-8859-1
, en_US.ISO-8859-15 ... the en will not be in the locale.gen file I mention next. Then edit the file /etc/locale.gen and make sure only the locales that you want generated (as selected in the command above) on the system are present in the file. This should stop the extra locales from being re-generated everytime you upgrade and you should not get the error in the lt_LT locale if you did not select it to be generated. But you should be finding out why the version of evolution you are installing wants to downgrade the package from woody that is to be installed on the system just where are you getting this package from and what is impi linux?
