Broadband

I'm trying to install Debian with net-install. The problem that I run into is that there is no way of entering my CCxxxxx-A number at the network config. It's needed for the network to connect and I have no clue of how to work arround this. Is there any way of solving this problem?

What is this CC* number? Is it a username, host name, password...? What kind of connection are you on? Do you have to use some sort of authentification in order to log on? PPPoE?

It sounds like you're configuring the network manually. Is there a reason for this? Why not let it set itself up?

Since auto setup will never guess my CC number and without it the connection won't work. Nobody on @home over here?
