bluetooth audio on Debian Lenny
I'm unable to get bluetooth to pair with a Sony Ericsson HBH-DS220 headset. I can see it both via the Bluetooth "browser" and with an "hcitool scan" command, but so far I can't seem to make a connection via either method.
Here are the bluetooth-related packages I currently have installed: pmena@pmenaws2=> sudo dpkg-query -l "bluez*" Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold | Status=Not/Inst/Cfg-files/Unpacked/Failed-cfg/Half-inst/trig-aWait/Trig-pend |/ Err?=(none)/Hold/Reinst-required/X=both-problems (Status,Err: uppercase=bad) ||/ Name Version Description +++-==============-==============-============================================ ii bluez-audio 3.36-3 Bluetooth audio support un bluez-firmware <none> (no description available) ii bluez-gnome 0.27-1 Bluetooth utilities for GNOME ii bluez-hcidump 1.42-1 Analyses Bluetooth HCI packets un bluez-passkey- <none> (no description available) ii bluez-utils 3.36-3 Bluetooth tools and daemons Curiously, I've been able to get this to work without issues on both Ubuntu and CrunchBang Linux - Debian descendants. Any tips or redirects would be appreciated. |
Problems with Services in Lenny
Quote:
at the present I have also problems with my BT applet in GNOME. As far as I know, Lenny has some problems with BT services. One solution could be to install them from experimental branch. Ask Google for the hints, you will find a couple of articles. Go to forums.debian.net, section "Hardware". There is a thread realted to this issue. Hope, this could help ypu. Cheers, Andrey |
