Azureus database not initializing

I have been trying to get Azureus to work for the last couple of hours but failed.
I set my tcp/udp listening port to 11112 and forwared it to my machine within the router and guarddog.
I tested with the following site

https://grc.com/x/portprobe=11112

and the port is open while Azureus is running otherwise it is closed.
Under plugins I changed the distributed database udp port to 11112 and also diabled UpNP.

My iptables config looks like this:

Azureus works with the exact config on a windows xp machine but this is still no help to me.
Does anyone have a clue what I could be doing wrong?

The first thing you might want to try is disabling guarddog and see if you can get azureus running. If that works go from there.

I disabled guarddog but it made no difference but now the database initializes after letting it run for 3 minutes.
The problem here is that I still have only red smiles on the torrents and I only have about 44 users.
