Audio capture card tuner - snd_bt87x doesn't work with Debian

The sound driver is loaded for the tuner interface (snd_bt87x). But alsaconf doesn't detect the device.

I tried to even compile this in (in Slackware) to see if that works, but it doesn't. Alsaconf doesn't even detect the tuner.

So snd_bt87x doesn't work with either Debian or Slackware even when loaded, but it Gentoo it works.

I distinctly remember that it worked in Gentoo, though. alsaconf detected the audio capture device and it works with sound.
