apt-get install problem


how can i install /upgrade from apt-get command where i have a all dump inmy one folder...


means i m using woody ...and sid all CD dump in my /home/linux/ folder...

its a iso image.,,,

no i want to upgrade ,,,how can i upgrade ..wihout making the CD pack,,,

If you have access to a CD burner, all you need is one image - the net-install CD.

Burn that to CD, make sure you have internet access (and you can connect) then boot that CD and answer the questions.

As most people have said, the hardest part is figuring out how to partition your hard drive. The rest is just answering questions.
