apt-get can't initialize KDE

I just installed Debian Sid on my desktop. During the install process it asked me how I wanted to handle certain messages related to installing packages. It gave me options like console, gnome, kde, etc. I can't remember the exact wording. Anyway, I chose KDE to handle the config screens and now when I do an apt-get and install certain packages I see an error about "unable to initialize kde, falling back to console" or something to that effect.

How do I change the option to just use the console instead, or how do I get it to work with KDE? Is this a package that can just be reconfigured to fix it?

Code:

dpkg-reconfigure debconf
That should fix it. Good luck!

Great! That's exactly what I was looking for!
