Apache not starting up
Hello all,
Apache is no longer starting up at boot time on my Debian Woody 3.0 machine. When I run the script manually from /etc/init.d/, it starts fine. Can't seem to find any error output that is helpful. Ideas? Thanks for reading. |
make a symlink from /etc/rc.d/rcX.d/ to init.d
X is ur runlevel the name of the symlink should start with "K" and the no. should be that of after the no. of networking link regards |
did you mean S, rather than K? because, i already have the symlink to *start* the service, in /etc/rc3.d/
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 16 Mar 12 09:29 S91apache -> ../init.d/apache when i run either of these manually, apache starts fine. |
so are u booting into runlevel 3 only???
regards |
