nvidia 630i Mobo

I hv a mobo nvidia 630i, I hv installed restricted drivers...I am being able to see xorg.conf, xorg.conf.1, xorg.conf.2 under /etc/X11..I know what is xorg.conf, but what about the other files, can anybody please explain it in brief

Only xorg.conf is the working file. The others are back-up files created automatically when you installed drivers or ran the autoconfigure routine.
