Adjusting login screen resolution in Debian Wheezy/Gnome 3.
Hello, Friends:
Been reading through the TLDP | Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide. Good stuff! I am currently working through Chapter 3 Exercises. So far, learning a lot, and looking forward to learning more with this book.
I guess with my newly found knowledge, my confidence is increasing. So I did something today, and finished with a simple reboot. Then I noticed that my login screen is at a lower resolution than my desktop, and that I should maybe try to do something about it. It just looks sloppy. I am running Debian Wheezy with Gnome 3.
My desktop resolution is 1600x900. But, I do not know what my login screen resolution is.
'Been looking for a solution in plenty of online documentation throughout the past couple of hours or so, and it turns out that a good number of people have had this problem. However, for a wide variety of reasons, their situations are not specific to my case.
I have tried [Ctrl + Alt + <numpad> +/-], and I am somewhat fearful of "trying" anything else, without expert advice. Would just like to know if any more advanced users or experts have had this issue, and if you have resolved it simply and successfully. If so, what was the fix?
Thank you in advance for your help.
