acrobat shortcuts
Hi, using acrobat reader i encounter the following problem:
Code:
~:$ acroread Ctrl+O, Ctrl+W and so on, so useful on a laptop, not to use the touchpad. Do you know how to fix the problem? Thak you Debian Sarge kernel 2.6.8 |
I'm not sure why the shortcuts don't work, but I don't believe the locale warning has anything to do with it.
|
acrobat version of reader is 5;
i just discovered today that when the num-lock is on the problem is up but the num-lock is off the problem is down and i can use shortcuts; well, unfortunately i can not still access the menu bar using 'Alt' key, do you understand this problem? |
I don't. If it's only with acrobat, I'd say it's probably a bug in their software.

I use Adobe 7, you might want to upgrade.
Go into edit>preferences>general> and check single key accelerators The description is a bit off, it takes 2 keys to do most things. File alt+f file ctrl+o open file atl+t tools alt+w window alt+e edit alt+v view ctrl+w close open doc "ADOBE ACROBAT READER KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS" http://getit.rutgers.edu/tutorials/s...ts/index9.html |
thank you,
and can you please tell me the correct line to add in my sources.list to upgrade acroread to 7.0, since i tried to update package list via aptitude but acroread did not appear |
Chris' server has been down should be up sometime soon hopefully.
