@ and " swapped on sparcstation 5 ??

I have recently installed Debian Sarge on an old Sparcstation 5 and it is running quite well. I just noticed an interesting problem with the keyboard: the @ and " keys are swapped when running from a normal text console. They are not switched in X and they are not switched in the OpenBoot monitor.

Is there a file that controls keyboard assignment and mapping that I can look at to see if I can correct this? I am running a Sparcstation 5-170 with a Sun 6 keyboard and Sun mouse.

I am enjoying learning about Debian on this old machine and I am very impressed with the level of support for this old hardware.

Thanks for any help or direction...

Bob

Keymapping for console is configured in debian with "dpkg-reconfigure console-data" command, so I'd expect that "dpkg -L console-data" would give you some starting points.

Thanks for your help, I found the problem.

The Sun6 keyboard is for a UK version. I canged to a Sun5 US version and the key are back where they should be.

Thanks again for your help.
