Of particular interest might be the script for creating a Mac-style Trashcan on your desktop. I've run into problems because I've been too willy-nilly in my deletion of files and directories, and adding the "sober second thought" of a trashcan is really a life-saver for me.

There's also a script for auto-mounting shortcuts on your desktop for your mounted volumes and your network shares, which I also find very useful.

(Now, if only I could find a way to recreate the "Oscar the Grouch" trashcan animation from my OLD Macintosh Classic... ;) )
