I recently downloaded the live cd of dsl. When I try to boot it I get to the first screen and then I can,t get any farther because my mouse freezes up.I,m currently using a wireless usb keyboard and mouse. I tryed plugging a ps2 mouse in when the start screen came up but the same thing.Could this be a firewall probem or do I need to do something in the bios?
sorry I meant to say that the cursor on the startup page freezes and that the mouse becomes inoperative. The keyboard works as long as you are only scrolling up or down. The thing won,t accept enter, escape, delete etc. This is the fourth linux download and haven,t had any luck with any of them. Ubuntu at least tryed but as far as getting a internet connection, no. As far as MS having a monopoly, yes they do. I think the linux thing would work if the OS,s were a little more user friendly and at least gave some direction on how to load them.
