Installing Damn small linux on my 500mb hd

Ok heres the deal I have a 400celeron with 32 mb of ram and a 500mb hardrive. and so far the only OS that looks like it could run on it is Damn Small Linux. Now I can boot it and run it from the cd jsut fine but I would like to actually install it on my harddiskand have it run like a normla os. Now i went though the faq on the damn small site but once i reboot my pc tells me it doesnt find an operating system. does anyone know why this would happen or another way to installl damn small on my harddrive or soemthing? any help would be great.

can you reference the site where you found the instructions you followed?

did you follow them exactly? if you changed anything, what was it?

Quote:
4. Execute "mkliloboot" by typing "sudo -u root mkliloboot" (without the quotes)
Enter the partition that your install is on. This will create an "initrd" with the needed modules and will setup "LILO".
