How Do I Get The Rest Of The System

ok. I now have dsl on my hard drive. What I need is to get the rest of the packages from debian linux and install them. I downloaded bittorrent but cannot get it to run.

will someone help me do this. what do I need to do to bittorrent to get it to run. OR what is the best way to install more stuff from debion.

Go to debian.org, download the latest netinstall iso (around 100 Mo)

No need to have bittorent, because there are lots of Debian ftps available,

since you have broadband.. Install the base system, once you've done that

use "aptitude" (read the help provided) and choose whatever you want :

X would be nice if you want to have a graphical desktop, then whatever

appeals to you...

I got bittorrent to work by installing the bittorrent-gui extension which is pretty straightforward to use.

I tested it with one simple URL which worked fine so that should really be all you need.
