Having issues installing DSL-N

[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
Ok I am trying to install DSL-N on a laptop for a friend of mine but it is a Centrino 546 MHZ CPU with 96 MB ram laptop.

It says out of ram before it even gets to the terminal to install it. :-/

I would make swap on the disk but I cant seem to even get to a basic terminal before it craps out.

Any idea on how to make this work?

That is very strange indeed, as I have a lappy with much more modest specs than that working just fine.
Are you running from the cdrom, or from within windoze??

the machine wont even install windows 98 so yes I am running it from the CD.

It installs DSL just fine but I need DSL-N because DSL doesn't have the kernel and tools that I need.

I will give it a try tho and see what I can learn!
Hey!! In the mean time I would boot into a puppy live cd, and go ahead and make yourself a swap partition!
