Fit DSL to laptop screen size: how?

Ok, I've installed DSL to my old Toshiba laptop and it's pretty cool...

But I am only getting the upper left fourth (or so) of the actual screen displayed on the laptop screen.

Ok, let me explain...if I plug another monitor into the back of the laptop, a true monitor, the entire DSL desktop shows up on the monitor, slip (or whatever that panel on the bottom is called) and all.

But without the monitor plugged into it, on the actual screen of the laptop, even though DSL fills the whole screen, it only about a fourth of what the entire desktop looks like...when I enhance it I see the icons just as if they were on the monitor sized screen...there is no slip in this case, 'cause it is outside of the screens view. Does that make sense? I can still launch everything fine, by right click, but it just doesn't fit correctly into my laptop screen.

Please advise, since I'd like to keep this distro...

Thanks!

Never mind...figured it out...got to right click, X settup, Xvesa or whatever then set the screen resolutions...

Thanks anyway!:)
