Unhappy Firefox&Java Issue

I running DSL v2 RC2 and absolutely love it!!!

However, I am unable to use FireFox & Java to play/access games @Yahoo.

Is this supported and/or do I need to configure something?

Please advise.

Download the java runtime from www.java.com (preferrably the .bin self extracting archive)

after installation create a symlink:

Code:
ln -s /"path to your java"/plugin/i386/"ns6 or whatever"/libjavaplugin_oji.so /"your firefox plugin dir"

Cool Not an option for Live CD, eh?

Thanks for the G2. I was hoping to use JAVA, with the DSL Live CD, to surf while at Hotspots. :-(

I seems that MIPS is the only Distro that supports JAVA on a LIVE CD..that I have found.

I guess I'll start working on boot DSL via a memory stick vs a CD. I love it's small foot print.

Cheers.

Have you tried the JAVA runtime plugin for Firefox? It is an mydsl called jre1_5_0.uci
It can be found here:
http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/...all/mydsl/uci/
Let us know if this works for you.
