Well i seem unable to see my NTFS partitions at all and for some reason i can't find fstab?

So where is fstab and what do i need to edit to get it to make NTFS hard disk available to be mounted? I don't need to write to NTFS just read it for data recovery which for me is the whole point of DSL.
