I'm happy to announce that the LQ Wiki now contains over 3,000 articles. We've been working toward this goal for a while now, and it's great to have reached it. If you haven't been to the LQ Wiki, it's a collaboratively built Linux and Open Source knowledgebase that anyone can edit. All content is licensed under either a Creative Commons license or the GFDL, ensuring that it remains freely redistributable. Head over to and share your knowledge today. The LQ Wiki also recently became an OpenID consumer.

A reminder that answering threads with no replies is a great way to help your fellow LQ members. Visit to get a list of Zero Reply Threads, or add to your feed reader. You can also sign up for the Zero Reply Email by visiting the Options section of MyLQ.

We're always looking for members interested in contributing content to the LQ Articles and LQ Tutorials sections.
