We're back from London and are happy to report that LinuxWorld UK was a success for LQ. If you weren't able to attend, you can get an Expo wrap-up and some pictures on my blog: and
The LQ Wiki continues to grow and we are still progressing toward our goal of 3,000 articles. If you'd like to contribute to the largest general Linux knowledgebase on the web, visit and jump right in. If you're not sure what to write about, contains a list of articles that members would like to see written.
LQ bookmarks allows you to bookmark, tag, annotate and share links to Open Source and Linux related sites. It also allows you to access your bookmarks from any browser on any machine. The ability to share and see what others are sharing is called social bookmarking. By viewing what sites others have bookmarked, you can also use LQ Bookmarks to find a variety of useful sites. Visit to start sharing your bookmarks now.
Just a reminder that answering threads with 0 replies is a great way to not only help your fellow LQ members, but help LQ itself. Visit and see if you can answer a thread that currently has no replies. Thanks.
