Post LinuxQuestions.org - Community Bulletin

LinuxQuestions.org Community Bulletin

For unsubscription information, please see the bottom of this email.

After much anticipation, I am proud to be able to announce that the first episode of the LQ Radio Show has been posted since the last Community Bulletin. This is something we have been working on for a while and I hope you enjoy the end result. We have gotten a ton of feedback and are working to improve the next show, which will be recorded soon. Visit http://radio.linuxquestions.org/2005...episode-1.html to tune in.
Also posted to the LQ Radio website ( http://radio.linuxquestions.org/ ) was an audio interview with James Turner and Dee-Ann LeBlanc, former editors for LinuxWorld Magazine. In the interview, they go into what exactly lead up to their decision to leave Sys-Con, their comments on the Free Software Magazine interview with Fuat, exactly who ended up stepping down and where some of them have found new homes. I'd like to thank Dee-Ann and James both for being on the show. Visit http://radio.linuxquestions.org/2005...n-leblanc.html to listen to the interview. Please note that all LQ Radio content is now available via BitTorrent.
I am happy to announce that another distribution has joined LinuxQuestions.org. Please welcome MEPIS. Participating in the MEPIS forum will be LordDavon, mmelbert, allworld, elmo40 and aveteam. I'd like to thank Warren and David for working with me to get the forum setup. Visit http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/t325223.html for the announcement, or go right to http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/f64 for the LQ MEPIS forum.
