yum error


hi all,

when i try to install something via yum i get this, its really annoying as i dont know why, i know my centos iso image is fine as im using it for other machines and there fine, whats wrong

my nic works as i can ping my network and also the internet via dns names

mmm really wierd, my other vm says the same error but thing is i can still install packages (it complains but then it tries another mirror)

im installing centos 7 on a vm, i will let you know

as per the error
it can not find that url

if you would "copy / pates" and not use a screen shot i could paste here

it looks like you manually edited one of the mirrorlist links in some repo

please post the output of

su -
yum repolist all
and please do NOT use a screenshot

copy / paste the TEXT

such an idiot!!

i installed the package squid on my pfsense firewall and that was blocking that subnet so i added it to the "allowed subnets" what a donut

but wierd thing is i could still ping google etc

thanks guys

Squid doesn't do anything to ICMP packets.
