Unable to access Samba shares from Windows 7 Pro

Hello Guys,

I'm fairly new-ish to linux. I'm hoping you guys can help me figure out, why I can't access my samba shares. I'm able to ping the address from several end points and able to remote into it with VNC. I am however, unable to get into the samba shares from whatever PC.

#What I have:
HW: Intel i7-2600k chip
RAM: 16GBs
HD: 180 Samsung SSD
OS: Kernel: Linux 3.10.0-327.4.5.el7.x86_64 / centos-release-7-2.1511.el7.centos.2.10.x86_64

Samba Settings from doing a testparm:
Code:
     *Load smb config files from /etc/samba/smb.conf*
        Processing section "[TVz]"
        Processing section "[moviz]"
        Processing section "[printers]"
        Loaded services file OK.
        Server role: ROLE_STANDALONE

    [global]
        server string = ServLX
        security = USER
        log file = /var/log/samba/log.%m
        max log size = 50
        idmap config * : backend = tdb
        hosts allow = 127. 192.168.2.
        cups options = raw

    [TVz]
        comment = TV drive
        path = /mnt/TVz
        valid users = bob bobby
        read only = No
        create mask = 0777

    [moviz]
        comment = Movies drive
        path = /mnt/moviz
        valid users = bob bobby
        read only = No
        create mask = 0777

    [printers]
        comment = All Printers
        path = /var/spool/samba
        printable = Yes
        print ok = Yes
        browseable = No

FirewallD ports no. 137, 138, 139 for both TCP & UDP are added to the port section in the public group.

**A listing of the folders:**
Code:
     0 drwxr-xr-x. 9 root root    79 Dec 27 11:45 .
     0 drwxr-xr-x. 4 root root    28 Dec 14 21:28 ..
     0 drwxr-xr-x. 2 root root     6 Nov 29 18:03 swa1
    64 drwxrwxrwx. 1 root root 65536 Sep 13 13:59 moviz
     4 drwxrwxrwx. 1 root root  4096 Jul 28  2014 TVz

I did try to change the ownership of the files, the following commands:

Code:
sudo chown -vR bob:moviz /mnt/moviz
or
Code:
sudo chown -vR bob:TVz /mnt/TVz

But an " ls -l " listing would show the same as above, as though nothing happened. What I wanted to end up with, is the *moviz* & *TVz* folders belong to a group by the same name & then add the different users to those groups. (I hadn't gotten to creating the different groups yet I was going to do that after.) But, giving full access to anyone on the network is also fine because, I am the only one on the network. While on the topic, shouldn't it not matter what groups the files are part of, if the file permissions are already 777 ?

Not sure what other computers are on your network but make sure the workgroup name is the same for all. You should also allow port 445 TCP/UDP traffic.

You can add browseable = yes directive to the shares so they will be seen in the file browsers. You can also add guest ok = yes which will allow anyone to access the share. Next would be to add a samba password for your users if not already done via smbpasswd.

And if selinux is enabled you need to add those shares. Be sure to read the selinux comments in the smb.conf file.
