Try launching the application from a terminal, then paste the output that appears in the terminal here, in code tags.
I use Red Hat on servers, but in my experience it's been fairly unpleasant on the desktop; just not enough everyday-user packages. lxqt is in
EPEL, for instance, but lxmusic is not.
However, it being Linux, of course it can be done, mostly by borrowing from the hard work of the Fedora devs:
1. Install RPM Development Tools:
Code:
$ sudo yum grouplist -v
$ sudo yum groupinstall fedora-packager
2. Grab the
source RPM for lxmusic from Fedora
3. And then
build it for your system:
Code:
$ rpmbuild --rebuild lxmusic-0.4.7-1.fc24.src.rpm
4. Install with yum...
Code:
$ sudo yum install rpmbuild/RPMS/`uname -m`/lxmusic*centos*rpm
