Question CentOS6 - Need ulogd but found nowhere

I'm now using CentOS6.6 as it has a kernel that is OK for the drivers of the RAID controller.
Now I'm looking for ulogd but can't seem to find one
I got one from 'rpm.pbone' but that one always crashes at startup of the server but seems go
start OK when I later manually start it. I can't find any logs for it so I can see the error.
Where could the logs for this be?

Later I recalled that when using Fedora I just used YUM to install it so this might not be the
correct version for CentOS6, so I started googling.... but nothing perfect found

Is ulogd out of business for Fedora/RedHat/CentOS or have I just not found the place yet?

I do prefer a yum installation since that auto updates it

Does "yum search ulog" turn up anything ?.
ulogd is still in the F20 repos.

*update*

At first glance/test that 2.0.2 version don't seem to work but I might have missed something so it can't totally dismiss it yet
I had to install some extra stuff that 'yum' didn't seem to know about to get it to run at all but even so... we'll see
