Synapse

I'm a very heavy Synapse user has someone made this available on CENTOS? I've been googling for quite a while and cannot find anything.

If it's the Apache project you're referencing then no, nobody has a pre compiled version for CentOS yet. Doesn't look like it's considered a finished product yet, which would preclude the folks from RedHat from including it in their repositories (what's not in RedHat repositories rarely if ever gets included in CentOS.) Nothing is stopping you from building from source yourself tho, shouldn't be to hard once you get the proper compiler(s) in place.

Application launcher? What exactly are you wanting to get done? (I admit I didn't read any of the pages about what Synapse actually does.)

On a server (which is what CentOS is) you generally don't run applications, you run services that automatically run at boot.
