File system for FreeBSD7.2 ?

Hi , i am reformating a harddisk for FreeBSD7.2 installttion.

I am not sure what file system to use?

Any recommendation is welcome

If you're not experienced with FreeBSD use the default file system. But don't trust the installer on partition sizing or you will paint yourself into a corner and have to reinstall.

@joszy: sysinstall will automatically select FFS for you (if you select "auto" partitioning and labeling). It's really not necessary to prepare the disk partitions in advance. Review the relevant Handbook sections, as mentioned.

The links to the documentation helps , I managed to complete the basic installation step-by-step till I'm able to login the root user and logout.

You might want to use UFS2 with softupdates.
