How to Change Wallet Password

Good Day All,
I'm new to Bodhi and have what is likely a simple question. I set a password for the wallet (that "remembers" my wireless passphrase and such) and now I want to change it. How is this done? I can't seem to find controls to do it.
Thank you

Greetings!

Not certain that we can help much since I don't recall seeing that wallet appearing recently in Bodhi - we're now running versions 1.2.0 and 1.2.1 - and cannot find the files relating to the solution below.
Perhaps you could let us know what you are using?

There is a long and involved post relating to this topic http://forums.bodhilinux.com/index.p...ation-problem/

Unfortunately the video referred to in the text seems to no longer be online.

From my reading of that post, it should be possible to change the password fairly crudely by entering this in a terminal:-

Code:

rm -rf ~/.gnome2/keyrings
This wipes the existing password file, I believe.

Allegedly, you are then prompted to enter a new password the next time the keyring is invoked.
But - my fresh install (an hour ago) of Bodhi 1.2.1 does not have that directory or file, so I can't test it for you. :(

Let us know how you get on!

Thanks for the info Flymo. I'm also using 1.2.0 and as you mentioned, /.gnome2/keyrings doesn't show up when I sudo cat /.gnome2/keyrings. But this gives me a place to start looking.
