Bodhi - keyboard shortcut to open terminal?
Hi,
I've only installed Bodhi a few days ago, but I'm already so tired of opening the main menu and trying to aim my mouse cursor through the pull-down menus to click Terminology. [Ctrl][Alt][T] doesn't work. Is there a default keyboard shortcut? If not, how can I create one? Thanks, dc |
Come on, people. 46 power-users have viewed my question and none of you knows of a Bodhi keyboard shortcut to terminal? Everyone on this forum can't be as dumb as me!

Bodhi has some quite good doco for those (including me) not up to speed on E17. Try this for starters.

Thank you, syg00. Actually, I had reviewed that page previously and also searched extensively online before posting, but, at your urging I revisited the Bodhi documentation and it made more sense to me this time. I was able to set up the [Ctrl][Alt][T] shortcut to which I've become accustomed. Thank you also to the rest of you who were polite enough not to tell me to do my own homework!

There is no short key stroke like ctrl + alt T.
What you can do is Windows + space bar to pull up the everything app. Here you can type terminology. The system will start remembering what you choose. For me I just do windows key + space bar or ctrl alt esc and type t and it automatically pops up. |
EDIT: Woops

In Bodhi's menu Settings->All->Input->Key Bindings opens The Key Bindings Settings Dialog. Here you can assign about about any key board shortcut you want.

Maybe I will mention to someone who handles our web dev stuff that perhaps old links like this should redirect to the updated pages. |
use Ctrl+Alt+Insert key to open the Terminology (Terminal).
