I have added staff to my It's MOSS website. Welcome to Dylan Burger in Canada and Dale Miracle in Ohio. We are adding new articles and even activities (see Distro Madness, our version of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament). Hardware, distros, software help, and more!

Boy, that felt like a rough year. A lot of bad things happened. An auto accident which maybe should have cost my life but which currently only resulted in a constantly-sore shoulder and lost my job for me. Worker's Comp ignoring me most of the year (I got all the way to getting an MRI on the shoulder and they never made the appointment with the doctor to evaluate it). My mother falling and breaking the pin in her hip, causing her to have surgery, go to a rehab facility, and, just before the end...

Linux Mint is always my go-to, Bodhi is what I like to run when the task is not must-get-it-done, OpenMandriva is both an homage to what I started with and has some very fun features, and then probably Feren OS. There have been times I'd only be watching Feren, but...

Adventures In Boot

Posted 11-16-2020 at 08:06 AM by zaivala

This is an excerpt of my presentation in mintCast 333.5. I thought I had done this already; we're up to Episode 346 now. It does not cover ALL the bases but it should give someone a head start.

This report is not meant to be a Deep Dive so much as an I Want It Fixed NOW, How Do I Do It? We may be hearing from my other team members as I go along for more tips.

Cleaning up EFI

After many installations of different distros on my computer, I discovered...
