My SLiM style and my Flux keys

This is my third post in the last half-hour. The best way to keep up is to get a feed reader and tell it to keep tabs on this blog's feed, http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...r-450341/feed/ .

Although I have not the most creative nor artistic mind, I was able to create a good theme for SLiM, my new login manager. The configuration files for themes are very easy to modify ( plain text ) and this is what I have come up with:

Kelshat is my hostname.

Going on with my realisation that I hate desktop environments after reading OneandOneis2's blog post, I have setup a very useful array of key shortcuts inside fluxbox:

Code:
#### Applications
# Boring Alt+F's
Mod1 F1 :Exec thunar
Mod1 F2 :Exec xfrun4
Mod1 F3 :Exec xfce4-terminal

# Spicy Menu + F's ( menu key between RIGHT alt and RIGHT control keys )
Menu F9 :Exec iceweasel

# Power manipulation
Multi_key Pause :Exec zdown

# Screen brightness
XF86AudioNext :Exec xbacklight -inc 12 -steps 1
XF86AudioPrev :Exec xbacklight -dec 12 -steps 1

## Volume keys
XF86AudioLowerVolume :Exec amixer sset Master 1-
XF86AudioRaiseVolume :Exec amixer sset Master 1+
XF86AudioMute :Exec amixer sset Master toggle
Notice I have coded in a key combo for a program called 'zdown' - that's the script I submitted in my last blog entry.

Regards, William
