Stuck w/ FC5 for about 10 months. I like it very much. I've recently installed Mandriva 2007 Free and I believe that I will likely "convert" to using Mandriva, a turn away from Fedora Core. Time will tell. I'm currently dealing with the /home/*/public_html issue (the lack of a default apache-mod_userdir seems a bit odd...). My first thought is that perhaps Mandriva isn't meant to be as "serious" / Pro a distribution as Fedora, in which case i may not choose to switch. I suppose the best thing to do is simply use it for a while and make a more educated decision in a few weeks.

considering i might d/l another distro todayl i really like Fedora Core 5, my current which i've had and used for approx 3-4 weeks. i see debian listed as a popular distro, so i might go that route instead. just not sure yet.
