visual novels, gaming...

I was quite impressed that yesterday I installed "katahane" without any problems in wine, and also applied english patch :D
Before that, I thought, well, if it won't work, then I'll just use the vbox. In fact there is no need ;D

although it seems the game user interface far from being perfect imo, the game itself looks somewhat promising. Yay, I'm really lucky I found this, now I've achieved at least two weeks of guaranteed fun. ehehe it's been a long time since I was so captured by the game. Well, maybe I lied a bit, not month ago I've continued with Aoi Shiro and got really sucked in, but change is good ;D Also, I like to leave all the best things for another day, like I now did with Aoi Shiro. Let's play it next year :D
Still having that said, have to note that is acceptable for me only if there really is a chance that someone kicks me or throws some work at me. Otherwise it's quite risky. I feel like I'm doomed to play until I reach the end.
I feel like making a great free opensource VN next year. It's not only about entertainment atm, I look at different VNs in search for bugs/tricks that I shall avoid/can use in my development process. Not sure what it's going to be about, since I have tons of drafts with absolutely different plots. I even do not exclude a chance it might be some raving, something like "The Tram That Is Far From The Truth"(which is a title for a book of short stories I write, focusing on nothing real or particular within each one story). Or, it might be much more.
But you know, when you see something you like, don't you usually think of creating something similar? And more than that, when you see something you don't really like that much, but that something achieved a high rank and popularity just because it was "first", you feel like pwning it with a better and free work. Is what I come to think about lately.
Well, I'll rather get back to gaming? :D Have a nice day, everyone ;)
