Interesting night

So last night i installed CentOS 5.5.
Installed fine, booted up, spent a few hours trying to set up my dual monitor display to no avail.
With CentOS each time you make a change to the display you have to restart X window system. Which is a pain is the a$$ by the way.
So after a few hours of fiddling with Xorg files, and seeing that CentOS looks a lot like wi98 as far as graphics, i booted back to my fedora and erased what i had just install.

Afterwards, i tried install Debian Stable onto that same partition, everything went fine during the install(or so it seemed)
Rebooted computer, grub pops up, i select Debian.... grub cannot find partition.
Balls.
Fedora is not in grub boot options either.
So needless to say this is turning out to be an interesting experience.

After a couple hours, i am now back to where i started.
Fedora's grub booting to fedora, and a bunch of unallocated Hard Drive space.
The following code is very handy
Code:
Boot into Fedora's Rescue mode
chroot /mnt/sysimage
grub
find /boot/grub/stage1 or
find /grub/stage1
should display something like (hd0,1)
Root (hd0,1)
setup (hd0)
exit
reboot
Next adventure will be.....?????
