How linux reduces Global Warming?

Posted 06-17-2010 at 08:15 PM by ultimate_linux

1.linux is less on resources i.e., it uses less CPU,MEMORY which means power consumption is less.
on an average windows 7 consumes 600MB of RAM,but, linux uses only 200MB means linux consumes 1/3rd of power that of windows consumes in case of RAM.

2.unlike windows, linux is 100% immune to viruses.so,we don't need an anti-virus which means we are not using our power, time to download an anti-virus,update it,scan the computer.

3.linux never hangs up,so,u need not reboot your computer.
