hi all,
if you hate that the suse installer called your pc linux-sqj4 or something then here is how to change it!
1) bring up a terminal
2)su to become root
3)vi /etc/HOSTNAME
4)change the bit before .site to whatever your new hosname will be by pressing i then deleting the bit that says linux-(random sequence)
5) esc :wq to quit and save
6) reboot!
note i used vi but you can use any editor if you do alt+f2 then kdesu kwrite /etc/Hostname then you can use kwrite
DO NOT USE YAST!!!
