Skype and Viber apps in my KitKat Build 7 150721

Posted 10-08-2015 at 04:32 AM by exton (Exton's Blog)

I just want to share that I have “discovered” that Skype and Viber can be installed and used without problems in “my” Android x86 system KitKat Build 7 from 150721. These are pretty awesome apps, wouldn’t you agree?

Skype problem

Posted 04-20-2011 at 02:07 PM by myklmar (Linux Gimux)

It happened again!
Updated Skype, video wouldn't work and it made my voice sound like donald duck!

Have discovered that with some installations Skype video won't work.
So....Try adding this as the properties of a shortcut:

(System >Preferences >Keyboard Shortcuts)

env LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib32/libv4l/ skype

I've saved mine as Ctrl + Alt + S

No more problems..
