Posted 03-15-2010 at 07:29 PM by slackwaredanny

Not really sure if im supposed to spend more time on my online alterego, but i always wanted to have blog.
If i remember it i will try to keep it alive.
Now a breif intro to me finding LQ and Slackware.
I have always been curios and eager to learn new things,i also enjoy problem solving and when i found out that i actually outgrown windows and mac a couple years back i realized that i have to go back to the basics, the roots. i was familiar with unix/linux.
ive used it in so many forms and ways so why pay a lot of money on something you cant change to your specific needs? so i made the switch and i no longer hardly use anything else then linux and the one closest to my heart is Slackware.
I spend a lot of time troubleshooting, tweaking, finetuning it to my needs and im learning to master unix/linux.
And the people here on LQ is an endless well of wisdom and knowledge and imformation.
its a real community and i feel at home here!
