Tired of MS-Windows and IE

Posted 03-04-2009 at 06:13 AM by sefarlow

I am SO glad to have a Linux PC up and running again! I recently bought a PC in an auction and installed Debian 5 on it and love it! It is fast, stable and efficient UNLIKE MS Windows and IE. I am growing sick of how slow IE can be, especially after it has been loaded up and running awhile.

Instead of using IE why not download and install Opera or Firefox? These browsers can also be slow to load pages if the site is busy etc. I think there is room for all operating systems it "horses for courses". I use RH openSuse XP and Vista depending on what I want to do.

Its a big Challenge for Microsoft. I as well stopped using IE long ago. Its slow and Hungs up after opening multiple pages thus making the navigation to other files slow. Firefox and Opera runs pretty well esp. in my Ubuntu installation.
